Screw conveyor is designed to transport drill cuttings to vertical cuttings dryer or High G drying shaker for further processing, and to receive drill cuttings from shale shaker, mud cleaner and centrifuge.
Usually has 4 types in diameter: 10 inches, 12 inches, 16 inches, 18 inches, 20 inches. The length can be customized according to the actual working conditions, but is generally 12~48ft. In addition, depending on customers' requirements, the screw conveyor can be made of different materials. Including carbon steel, stainless steel is graded differently.
The screw conveyor consists of impeller, shaft (if necessary), cover, motor and gearbox. In fact, screw conveyor is used not only in oil fields, but also for other purposes. Such as chemical industry, construction industry, food industry, mining industry and so on. Conveyor angle is adjustable for different work sites. We usually use U type conveyor and round pipe conveyor to move slurry. Screw conveyor is possible to regulate the speed through mechanical gearbox or through VFD control panel.
